ABOUT ME

I'm Brandon — a filmmaker, editor, and above all, a storyteller.

For two decades I built a career as a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor, telling other people's stories for a living.

Then AI cracked the whole thing open, and I did something I hadn't done since I first picked up a camera: I became a beginner again. I taught myself to build — apps, tools, entire products — with AI as my collaborator, going from someone who'd never shipped a line of code to someone with three apps in active development.

Alongside them runs a steady stream of AI-assisted content I couldn't have made on my own two years ago. That same reinvention pulled me back to the page. I'm writing a book about the search for my biological father ("ACID and HAND GRENADES")— a story I think I could only tell now, with the tools and the distance to finally get it right.

Underneath all of it, though, I'm the same thing I've always been: a storyteller. Whether I'm cutting a film, producing a shoot, building an app, or writing a chapter, I'm chasing the same instinct — find the true story, and shape it so someone else feels it too. The tools keep changing. That part doesn't.
